It’s not great advice but it should suffice

How do I prepare for a job interview?

I’ve mentioned this before in the previous article, but hygiene is first and foremost. Shower, shampoo and condition (don’t skimp out on that conditioner), shave, wear nice clothes and deodorant, if anything please deodorant. As for the actual interview just remember if you don’t get the job that just means a lot less work you have to do

What if I’m really unathletic and I hate running but I want to play a sport?

Does it matter if I don’t have a date to prom? Everyone is freaking out about it and I’m feeling the stress.

First of all, prom is one night. 4 hours. That is a very insignificant amount of time in your life. DO NOT be that person who makes their entire junior or senior year revolve around this night. It’s extremely wasteful, and quite honestly annoying for the rest of us. Also prom is supposed to be a fun night with friends, and if your parents are paying for all your clothes and hair and bus at least have fun so you don’t waste their money. In regard to the whole date situation, always go for asking a friend. But plenty of people go without dates. Again it is literally 4 hours of your life, less if you count the time waiting to get into prom.

I hate public speaking, and I’m definitely not ready for my public speaking Tuesday speech, what can I do?

Here’s the reality, nobody cares about your speech. Good or bad that kid in the back corner will still be sleeping, Suzy will still be texting her friends, and Richard will still be trying to figure out where to buy his first vape pen. Relax, even if you don’t do well you can always make it up at the end of the semester with bathroom pass extra credit.

What do I do if someone asks me to ball and I don’t want to go with them?

Vomiting works wonders on people’s interest in an answer.

What do I do if the person I like doesn’t like me back?

(excessive sigh)

How do I tell my parents that I got bad grades on my finals?

Unless your going to become a doctor or an astronaut, odds are you won’t need an A on all of your finals. If you explain this to your parents in a reasonable way with a little 10 to 20 bribe underneath the report card I’m sure it’ll be fine. Then again moving Canada is never a bad resort to problems

I’m having trouble keeping up with my New Year’s Resolution, what should I do?

If actually you’ve gotten this far in your resolution I applaud you reader, now go get yourself some ice cream to celebrate.
