Boys basketball starts strong

Boys basketball has started off hot. Standing currently (13-2), the team has many accolades under their belt already, such as placing first in the Fab 4 Tournament in Oceano, California. “We are happy about the record we have this year, but also know that we are only half way through the season and have a lot more to accomplish and to look forward to,” said junior captain Alden Friedman. With league and NCS on the horizon, the team is looking strong.

The student fans of the Sixth man section put a large part into the game of Northgate basketball. “As a team we are looking forward to more exciting home games with the Sixth man,” mentioned Friedman. The students have the players backs and cheer them on while they are giving it all on the court.

“The team goals for the season are to win league and go deep into the postseason. Once we get there we will take each game one win at a time,” explained Friedman. The team’s record and stats back up their goals,as they play out the rest of the regular season.

“We are looking forward to NCS and seeing how far we can go,” said senior Max French. As of now, the Broncos are expected to be one of the top competitors for the tournament, ranked only behind cross-town rival Las Lomas.
