Girls soccer kicks off the new season

After eight weeks, the girl’s varsity team is (4-3). Head coach Erin Hart has been with the team since the current senior’s freshman year.
“We have a whole new bunch of girls and it’s been so fun getting to play with them.” said senior Rochelle Arnold.

With many new teammates, the girls are still learning how to play as a team.

“We’re still learning to play with each other, and we are overall a really good team but we still have room to improve and need to mold together some more,” said senior captain Payton Mannie .
Having finished all their non-league games, the team now heads into conference play where they hope to do well enough for NCS.

After a first conference win of 7-0 against Mount Diablo High School, the team looks to continue their momentum into their upcoming games.
