Girls basketball shoots for NCS

Varsity girls basketball (5-13) hopes for a strong year in the Valley Division. In their second season playing for head coach Bob John, the team has high hopes to qualify for NCS. “I hope we can make NCS because we made it 25 years in a row until last year and we’re hoping to restart the streak,” said senior captain Julia Gamez. After a rough start, the Broncos look to regroup and prepare for conference games. “I think composure, motivation and a drive to win are going to be important to our success,” added Gamez.
