Northgate recognized 14 seniors who have committed to a college or university sports team for next year in its largest “signing” celebration in recent years. About 200 students and family members of the signed athletes enthusiastically attended the event in the forum during lunch, where PE teacher Mike Ahn formally announced the students and their destinations. The event, which involved students signing or recreating the signing of their national letters of intent, was organized by Northgate’s Sports Leadership class and athletic boosters.
