Karen Jenkins, Faculty Adviser
Karen Jenkins is the staff adviser of the Sentinel. She loves working with the creative, curious, responsible student journalists who contribute such an important product to the school and community. She writes for the Pioneer News and worked in the field of journalism prior to becoming a teacher and teaches English at Northgate. She worked in journalism at the UC Santa Barbara Daily Nexus; Roll Call on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.; K-Lite Radio in Vail, CO; The Avon-Beaver Creek Times in Avon, CO; and several weekly newspapers for what is now the Bay Area News Group.
