Softball and baseball have both finished their regular season and moved onto first round of NCS. Softball started off strong in their regular season and fought hard for a well deserved spot in NCS. May 23 Northgate played Carondelet away from home. The game started out slow and stayed fairly close until the sixth inning when Broncos scored 6 runs and tied with the Cougars. Sadly, in the bottom of the seventh inning Carondelet scored to win the game.

Baseball played their first NCS game as well, in El Cerrito playing as the home team. Broncos started off with an early lead but the Gauchos tied it up in the third inning 5-5. All the way up to the tenth inning the score did not change and they had to continue the game Wednesday, after returning to El Cerrito they played for ten minutes and ended the game 6-5 Northgate.
