Senior Alina Stanley is one of hundreds of seniors who now have graduation signs, thanks to Northgate parents.

A sign of good times ahead for the class of 2021

Campus was extremely busy on a recent Sunday as hundreds of seniors or their family representatives made their way to the usually quiet campus to pick up a coveted item:  a yard sign announcing the residence of a member of the class of 2021. The signs, funded by the Parent Faculty Club families, were distributed by parent volunteers and school representatives on March 21. The group has some social events planned for the twenty-first of each of the next two months, an effort led by parents as a tribute to the graduation class of 2021 to bring enthusiasm to a class that has been in distance learning for the last quarter of their junior year and all of their senior year. This is the second year the parents’ organization has provided the signs to members of a senior class, who for the past two years faced distance learning as school closed to in-person learning due to safety concerns over the coronavirus. Signs are still available at Northgate for students who did not yet receive one.
