Want to support small businesses? Don’t know what to buy as gifts for family and friends, or even for yourself?

An answer is right here at Northgate this Saturday at the second annual craft fair and holiday celebration.

Various vendors, small businesses, and clubs will sell products of a wide variety: painted tote bags, jewelry, crystals, baked goods, and more! This year, the event will be held on Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“The winter fair is a great location for individuals to shop from local small businesses and show them their support. It is a great place to shop for loved ones and even treat yourself!” said Harshada Sharma, one of the leadership students and a coordinator for the event.

Northgate’s ASB Leadership is putting on the fair for a second year, and anyone can sell their products or services by paying a “vender” fee. The fee supports Northgate’s Student Leadership fundraising efforts. Various booths accept Venmo, Apple Pay, or cash only, and organizers advise shoppers to come prepared, ready to do some holiday shopping while giving back to the community.
