Students and staff enjoy snowy mountain view from campus
Students arriving to school on the chilly morning of Friday Feb. 24 were treated to snow – if they looked up, that is. Mt. Diablo State Park was blanketed by snow that made it look like a ski resort, with 5 inches reported at the ranger station, located at 2,200 feet above sea level, and more than 5 incles reported at the 3,849-foot summit, according to Bay Area weather stations. Freshman Jacob Dobbs captured this snowy photo of Mt. Diablo on his way to school from Clayton, where he lives.
