Spirit Day on Sept. 1 looked like a day at the beach for students who enjoyed their first spirit day of the new school year dressing up in summer, beach and Hawaiian wear. The day included a fall rally at the sports field celebrating fall sports teams, contests between students representing their respective grade levels. Student Leadership planned the rally which include a welcome from the marching band, cheer and dance groups. Even Rocky, one of several support dogs who spend their days on campus, got into the spirit with his human, Vice Principal Tucker Farrar. Northgate’s next series of dress-up days will be for Spirit Week, Oct. 23 to 27.
