Egg decorating is a longtime tradition in Germany and at Northgate, where German teacher Frau Nancy Grabow takes advantage of the block schedule in spring each year for her students to enjoy art. Students took a language break and turned to art during the week of April 22. Pictured above left, freshman Giuseppe Cochrane and freshman Liza Barinova prepare to create some designs. Below left, decorated eggs from this year and from the past include decoupage, intricate design, and even animal themes. Below right, freshman Liam Shields and other students help string completed eggs through the classroom.
