While students learn from home, campus administrators and workers are designing and placing entrance and directional signs throughout the hallways and walkways in anticipation of a return or partial return of students to campus. The signs are intended to direct foot traffic and keep people moving in the same direction to maintain distance. The Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board of Education is expected at its Dec. 14 meeting to make a decision on delaying a previously discussed January return to school for some small groups in response to rising county and statewide COVID-19 infection rates.
